The Yggdrasil field is located in a water depth of approx. 110 m in the central part of the North Sea, 135 km west of the Norwegian port city of Bergen.
The contract includes the supply of 44,000 tons of coated pipe, of which 76 km is for a 711 mm diameter gas pipeline and 48 km for a 610 mm diameter oil pipeline.
The raw material for the pipe production is provided by EUROPIPE's shareholders, the Salzgitter Group and AG der Dillinger Hüttenwerke. EUROPIPE subsidiary MÜLHEIM PIPECOATINGS GmbH is responsible for the external coating and internal lining of the pipes
