Standards that build trust
Our quality management system forms the basis for this commitment. It is based on the API Q1 and ISO 9001 standards, according to which all our sites are certified. In addition, we meet the requirements of other international standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and ISO 45001. We are also actively working on the implementation of ISO 27001. These standards enable us to monitor compliance with the highest requirements at all times, measure improvements objectively and implement them sustainably through regular audits.
The EUROPIPE management system
Our management system is clearly documented in the EUROPIPE Management Manual (EMM) as well as comprehensive process descriptions, QHSE plans, procedures and guidelines. It ensures that all customer-specific requirements – from manufacturing specifications to QA/QC instructions to detailed work instructions – all of which are implemented in a binding manner. This enables us to create a continuous value chain: from the raw material to production to the finished coated pipe, which is delivered worldwide on time and according to customer specifications.
The EUROPIPE quality management system is based on the following principles
- EUROPIPE is part of an integrated production chain, from steel production to pipe coating. EUROPIPE purchases both raw materials and operating resources from qualified suppliers.
- EUROPIPE products are manufactured and inspected using state-of-the-art computer support and automatic control of production and transport processes. This enables a consistently high level of quality and complete traceability of every product.
- The data obtained by the automatic control system is used for documentation and statistical evaluation. It makes a significant contribution to the continuous improvement of EUROPIPE processes.
- An integrated production planning system and supply chain management ensure that deadlines are met.
- EUROPIPE incorporates both customer requirements and market developments into its extensive product development activities. In addition, EUROPIPE continuously invests in improving its production, inspection and testing procedures.
