What are your responsibilities at EUROPIPE?
After completing my training as a construction mechanic specializing in welding technology, I trained as an industrial foreman in metalworking and a welding specialist.
My responsibilities at EUROPIPE include occupational safety, personnel management, and production flow management in the welding line.
What is special about my workplace?
Every new job brings its own unique characteristics and challenges.
What do you like about EUROPIPE / your job?
The variety and working in a team, as well as accompanying and promoting the development of my colleagues.
What was the deciding factor for you to start working at EUROPIPE?
In 2007, at the start of Nordstream 1 production, I was looking for new challenges, took the plunge from temporary work and applied for a 6-month contract here, and I've been here ever since.
How would you describe your everyday working life?
No two days are the same.
What do you appreciate most about working here?
The variety, my colleagues.
What would you say to someone who wants to apply for a job at EUROPIPE?
I think if you started in 2007 with a six-month contract, have since qualified as a master craftsman and welding specialist through the company, and are still here, that speaks for itself.
And finally: what is essential for a really good working day?
That we finish the day successfully and start the next shift with a positive feeling.
