EUROPIPE in dialogue with Member of Parliament on supply chain resilience
During a company visit, EUROPIPE’s management informed Sebastian Fiedler, Member of the German Bundestag for Essen-Mülheim, about the current situation of the German and European steel pipe industry and the importance of robust supply chains for the expansion of European energy networks – particularly for natural gas (CH₄), hydrogen (H₂) and CCS infrastructure.
In the discussion, there was a shared understanding that maintaining a strong and competitive European steel pipe industry is essential for Europe’s security of supply and overall resilience.
During a follow-up tour of the pipe production facility, the member of the German Bundestag's domestic affairs committee was impressed by the technological capabilities and industrial expertise at the site.
